 Arrabbiato (The Green Man): The Green Man, a foliate head, is a form that was common in medieval times. Representing irrepressible life, he appears on countless gothic churches and castles. This one, measuring 15" x 12", also draws on Japanese and Javanese influences. The mouth can be opened so it can be used as a wall fountain. |
